Definition of "Hyperbole" (Video)
Hyperbole is deliberate exaggeration for emphasis or comedic effect. It is usually presented in the form of a simile or a metaphor. Typically, hyperbole offers an exaggerated comparison in order to emphasize a point. A hyperbolic statement is not usually intended to be taken literally.
