A Reminder on Using Semicolons
Semicolons are used for four reasons:1. To separate items in a complex list (when the items already include commas).
For example:- On our trip, we stopped in Paris, France; Rome, Italy; and Berlin, Germany.

2. To link two closely related sentences without using a conjunction.
For example:- I have a meeting in the morning; the presentation is in the afternoon.

3. To connect two sentences when the second one begins with a transitional phrase (such as "however," "therefore," and "for example").
For example:- The train was delayed; therefore, we missed the opening act.

4. To join two long sentences that already contain several commas, especially when they're connected by a conjunction.
For example:- The novel, which had been translated into five languages, sold out quickly; and the film adaptation, released just months later, was also a huge success.
