Let's play Countdown!
The aim of Countdown is to find the longest word you can from the nine letters. This version of the game is based on the Channel 4 TV show, but there is one big difference. In our version, you do not pick the letters, and there is always a nine-letter word. In fact, there is a new nine-letter every day.
Can you find today's word? If not, what is the longest word you can get? Can you beat your friends?
There is another slight difference. In this version, once the music has stopped, you have an extra 15 seconds to finish entering your word.
Good luck!
- The 9 letters below come from today's challenge word (i.e., a secret 9-letter word for ).
- Use the letters to enter the longest word you can.
- Your word must be 3 letters or longer and in our dictionary.
- The TV version of COUNTDOWN lasts 30 seconds, but this game lasts 45 seconds.
(30 seconds' thinking time and 15 seconds' typing time) - You can type only when the letters have turned to keys.
- Good luck!
