Free Grammar Tests
List of English Grammar Tests
Below are links to hundreds of free tests and games on English grammar, which are grouped by their part of speech (e.g., adjective, noun) or another major category (e.g., punctuation, vocabulary). We have thousands of tests! The tests on this page are just a sample of our tests. In fact, we have thousands of tests because every lesson on Grammar Monster has at least one multi-choice interactive test, which is editable and printable. (As the tests and games on this page are different to the ones in the lessons, teachers typically use these ones as additional tests.)
Our tests are sendable. The vast majority of our tests are also sendable, which is a useful feature for teachers who want to set assignments for students. It also saves paper. (Here's the clever bit. Our sendable tests require no accounts and no log-ins. All the question and answer data is passed via the URLs sent between teacher and student.)
