A List of Lessons for Learning Spanish Vocabulary
Spanish Lessons
Our main focus at Grammar Monster is teaching English grammar. We cover everything from the basics for learners to complex topics for academics and professionals. Of course, every one has their own reason for learning English grammar, but here is a great one: it really helps with learning other languages.
When you know concepts like verbs, tenses and articles, it is far easier to learn how they are used in your new language. For example, when a grammar-savvy person learns how to say "I am," in a foreign language, they are instantly thinking about how terms like "you are" and "he is" are said. Similarly, when a grammar-savvy person learns the word "my" in a foreign language, they are instantly thinking about words like "your," "his," "her," "our," etc.
When people who understand grammar visit news countries, they carry "empty charts" in their heads, which they fill in as they encounter new words. It's a highly effective, structured way to learn a new language.
That said, understanding grammatical terms does not unlock everything. There is still work to be done. There is vocabulary to learn! Grammar Monster can help with that too. For now, we're covering just Spanish, but more languages will follow.
