Pronouns replace nouns. A large number of words can be classified as pronouns, and there are several different kinds.
(The following are all examples of pronouns: I, he, she, we, they, some, which, any, who, my, ours.)

he
The word "he" is a pronoun. In the example below, it replaces the noun "Adam".
Example: Adam is only 4, but he is highly intelligent.

"Day" is a noun.

Example: Empty the bin. "Empty" is also an adjective.
Example: Bring the empty bin inside.

"None" is a pronoun too. It is classified as an "indefinite pronoun".
