Is Grammar Monster suitable for students learning English as a second language? |

Grammar Monster is designed for people who write English well.
It is not cluttered with basic grammar points which a native English speaker would already know.
For example, Grammar Monster explains how to use semicolons, but it does not show the conjugation of verbs (I am, you are, he/she/it is, we are, etc.)

Does Grammar Monster cover English and American English? |

There are some minor differences between American English and English. For example:- licence/license
- practice/practise
- use of punctuation at the end of a quotation
- use of single and double quotation marks

Will it work on my PC? |

The current
Grammar Monster application includes a little Visual Basic Script (VBS), which
some PCs will not recognise. (If your PC is not VBS compatible,
around 20% of the interactive tests will not work.) If you are using
Internet Explorer, you will be fine.
